Daytime

The wonderful prom in Blackpool offers a free walk and a multitude of sights. Take a walk from your B&B hotel in the daytime to see the Tower get closer and closer as you walk towards it. The Comedy carpet offers a good read and it is right in front of the Tower.

The Pleasure Beach is a must when visiting Blackpool. If you can stomach the thrills and spills of the rides then book in advance to get a better deal on the wristbands.

There are many pleasing amusement arcades along the front, each offering hours of pleasure with the 2p machines! You will never be rich but when the 2p’s fall it’s a great feeling. The children will milk you dry with the machines in there and people of all ages come and go playing on a multitude of machines.

Nighttime in Blackpool can be electric, romantic or just relaxing depending on your needs. There are many places to go to have a night out and the amusement arcades are open until late.

Planning your night in advance may be best if you are going on the razzle! however sometimes just wandering and visiting the little pubs for a swift half will delight the traditional beer drinkers.

The Black Pug and The Mitre are two pubs I like to visit for a quiet pint (or not so quiet sometimes)

The Mitre is the smallest pub in Blackpooland offers a traditional night out with a great set of bar staff, regular clientele and a wonderful landlady!

Food

There are many traditional Fish and Chip shops in Blackpool, almost around every corner!

There are numerous other cuisines to choose from? All you can eat from the Chinese BuffetMr. Basri’s all you can eat buffet are two of our favorites.

The restaurant I recommend more that any other is not actually in Blackpool its Bispham. It is called Terra Nostra an Italian restaurant actually run by Italians! Situated on Red Bank Road Bispham it seems busy everyday so better to book a table in advance.  +44 1253 352114

The outside seating area allows you to sit, drink, eat and peacefully watch the world pass you by.If you’re looking for amazing ice cream then look no further than Notarianni.
